Collection: Trees

Canada has a lot of trees. Except for the regions above the Arctic Circle, it's hard to travel far without bumping into one. This is especially true around my studio, and as one might expect, I often find myself painting trees. 

I'm not alone in this. Many iconic Canadian artists are recognized for their depictions of trees and they constitute a vital element in the toolkit of a landscape artist.
