Collection: Barns and Buildings

Growing up in Eastern Ontario, barns were an unmistakable presence. Amidst the flat landscape, they stood out prominently and, to me, felt like an organic, natural part of the scenery, not merely something man-made. They appear unique and firmly anchored to the earth, as though they had sprouted from the ground rather than being constructed. It is this that allows them to blend seamlessly into the natural world that surrounds them.
