This is a subject I've been to several times because it is in a sheltered bay not too far from my studio. In this version, the boathouse itself is somewhat obscured. The Winkler's have owned the cottage ever since I've been there which is over 30 years now and its always been a pleasant spot to paint from.

"Winkler Boathouse III" is a tranquil lakeside landscape. The boathouse itself is barely visible. It features a forested shoreline with dense trees in shades of deep green and hints of red, reflected in the calm water of the lake. The background consists of softly blended hues of blue and grey, suggesting distant hills under a subtly cloudy sky. The composition evokes a serene and peaceful atmosphere.
