This is an earlier work that I did of a cottage not too far from my studio but I feel it captures the mood of the day well. The time was late fall when the trees are just bursting with colour. The lake was very still and the reflections in the water just intensified the scene.

Description

"The Red Cottage" is a vibrant landscape painting capturing an autumn scene by a tranquil lake. A small cabin, nestled among trees, is situated near the water's edge, with a wooden dock extending over the lake.
