When I paint outdoors, I try to manage my expectations for the session. This day, a group of us headed to a church near Portage-du-Prarie in Quebec. However, when I got there, I just couldn't see the design. Artists get so obsessed with "things" that we forget what a painting and art is really about; creating an interesting and attractive work that you would be proud to display on your walls. So I turned the other way and this timy shack caught my eye instead.
