It may seem a little strange to do winter landscapes in the middle of the summer but this piece has been evolving for quite awhile. I usually have several pieces underway at any given point of time and, if something isn't working, I'll set it aside and pull it out later. This gives me a fresh perspective and often the solution becomes clear.

Description
